This easy BBQ pulled pork sandwich recipe uses tender pork shoulder slow-cooked until juicy and flavorful—perfect for family dinners, gatherings, or feeding a crowd.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder roast
  • 6-8 Garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 Buns or rolls
  • 8 Slices of provolone cheese

Method
 

  1. Trim any extra fat off of the roast
  2. Slice garlic cloves in half
  3. Cut slits in the roast and press halves garlic into the slits
  4. Season roast and place in crock pot
  5. Slather roast in BBQ sauce
  6. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat falls apart with fork
  7. Pull out any bones and shred meat
  8. Serve on roll with cheese
