Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cup Pineapple juice 100%
  • 1 1/2 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Salted butter
  • 1 tbsp Garlic cloves Whole
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Ground
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Method
 

  1. Add the pineapple juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salted butter, garlic cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a 1-1 1/2 quart heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Whisk to help the brown sugar dissolve.
  2. Allow the glaze to reach a very low simmer. Reduce to low and continue to summer for about 6-8 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Whisk often. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
  3. Use a slated spoon to scoop out the whole cloves and discard them. Pour glaze into a 1 pint mason jar with a lid and store in fridge until ready to use.
  4. When ready to cook your ham, follow the instructions of your ham and add glaze when instructed.
